Our property
Les Racines is a cozy ground-floor studio, created from the renovation of a family building completed in 2015. It was designed with the intention of providing warm and comfortable environments, offering an intimate and authentic atmosphere, perfect for those looking to enjoy a relaxing stay in the heart of Val di Rhemes.
The interior spaces include a living area with a sofa bed, a wood stove, and a kitchenette, as well as a small hallway, a bathroom, and a cellar. The amenities feature independent heating with radiators, a TV, and a washing machine, ensuring convenience and comfort in every season.
The property is located in the village of Chanavey, about a kilometer from the main town, in a particularly advantageous position for enjoying the mountains year-round. Just 100 meters away, there are cross-country ski trails and a ski lift, while in the winter season, the area also invites visitors to enjoy pleasant snowshoeing excursions.
During the summer, the region offers numerous opportunities for nature lovers and outdoor activities, thanks to the many trails that wind through the Gran Paradiso National Park. For those seeking more dynamic thrills, the starting point for the Casimiro via ferrata is also nearby.

Claudio and the Lucianaz family warmly welcome you to Les Racines, a place born from a deep connection to the land and a family project nurtured with passion. In the spring of 2014, they decided to renovate a building they owned, transforming it into two apartments designed to provide intimate and comfortable environments. After months of hard work and dedication, the renovations were completed in the summer of 2015, creating a space where guests can enjoy the genuine pleasure of staying in Val di Rhemes.
The name Les Racines, meaning "the roots," reflects the family's strong bond with Rhemes Notre Dame, a place where they have had meaningful experiences since childhood, from their first ski runs to their initial explorations of the unspoiled nature in the Gran Paradiso National Park. This connection is evident in their heartfelt hospitality and the attention given to every detail.
The property is located in the charming village of Chanavey, a small hamlet that captivates visitors with its intimate and authentic atmosphere, making every guest feel right at home, surrounded by a stunning natural setting.
